Set your own fundraising challenge in 2021
Do you fancy taking on your own personal challenge in support of our hospital Baby Beat? There’s many ways for you to raise important funds and make a difference to those who need it the most, whilst having fun along the way!
By setting your own challenge you’ll be able to get creative with your ideas and take part in an activity that means something special to you! Take a look at some of our ideas below for some fundraising inspiration…
Sponsored head (or beard) shave!
Do you fancy ‘braving the shave’ and raising important funds for our charity! All you need to do is pick a date, ask your friends and family to sponsor you and don’t forget to get the camera ready for some fabulous before and after photos!
Sporting challenge
Although there are a number of mass participation sporting events for you to choose from, you may have a personal challenge you wish to take on in support of Baby Beat. Whether that be cycling, running, hiking, or even skipping your preferred distance, your sporting challenge is the perfect way to push yourself to reach your goals, whilst raising money for a very worthy cause.
Birthday/Anniversary fundraiser
If your birthday or a special anniversary is coming up soon you could set up a fundraiser on our Facebook page and ask family and friends to make a donation, instead of buying you a card or present. If you would normally be having a party to mark the occasion you could contribute some extra money to the fundraiser as well!
Charity event
Maybe you want to organise your own charity event, now that most restrictions have been eased. From music charity nights to family fun days, we will be on hand to offer any advice along the way and make sure your event is as successful as possible!
Once you’ve chosen your fundraising challenge you can set up a justgiving fundraising page here: www.justgiving.com/babybeat
If you have a fundraising idea then we would love to hear from you! Please contact us and we can offer any advice and support along the way. E-mail babybeatuk@lthtr.nhs.uk
